Download the program from our website. Run the downloaded file and follow the instructions on the screen to install the video capturing software. When that’s done, double-click the program icon to launch the recorder.

To set the capture parameters before you start recording, click Preferences on the sidebar.

Here you’ll find different options. For example, in the General tab, you can choose to hide the recording panel. To select the folder for output videos, go to the Files tab. Open the Effects tab to change the cursor settings. Click OK when you’re finished.

Then click the Screen recording button. Using the mouse, draw the capture frame to set the area you want to record. After you click Screen recording and select the capture area, the recording panel will appear on the screen. Click System Audio to enable recording of internal sounds. The icon turns green when it’s activated. Make sure that the Webcam and Microphone are turned off.

Now click the REC button to start the PC video capture. There will be a 3-second countdown before the recording process begins.

You can hit Pause during the recording if you need to. To finish the recording, click the Stop button.

Now you can remove any unnecessary segments from the recorded video. To do this, place the cursor at the edge of the unwanted segment and click Cut. Repeat as needed. Then select the part you want to remove and hit Delete fragment.

Next, click Export. In the dialog box that opens, you can change the output format, file name, and export folder. When all the necessary changes have been made, click Save.

Click on Video Recorder to enter the mode. You will then get the option to record footage from your PC screen. 

Choose your settings, such as inputs and sizes, for recording a video on a PC. You can also choose whether to use an external microphone for voice-over.

Time for capturing a video on your PC. Click the REC button to start, Stop to finish, and the Save button to export the video.

Alter the settings: choose if you want to record the full screen or just a region of your desktop. You can also choose microphone inputs or add a webcam input if you want to add commentary, for instance.

Click the Record button or press Ctrl + F12 to start the recording process. When finished, Ctrl + F12 also finishes the recording. Click the popup that appears in the bottom corner of the screen and open the saved video. You also have the option to make some basic cuts and edits.

Once installed, the icon will appear on the right next to your URL bar. Click the icon to choose the options or the type of recording you want to make.

Navigate to Options and change the settings. When you are ready to capture, the same menu will give you options to record your PC screen, a tab, or a webcam. Click the option you want.

A toolbar will appear with controls to start and stop the recording. When finished, select Done and this will bring up another window. For short clips and short movies, you can share them directly to other apps, like Trello and ChatGPT. Long videos can be saved on Google Drive. This is the best way to store videos remotely.

Tap the Windows key + G on your keyboard. You will see the Game Bar.

To adjust the settings, you need to go to Windows settings and open Gaming. Next, select Captures. Here, you can select video quality settings, audio settings, and the length of your recording. Unfortunately, you can’t choose the folder in which to save your recordings. The Game Bar has a small settings menu too, which you can open by clicking the Settings symbol on the Bar. You can adjust the length of your video, switch to background recording mode, and change other clip settings.

To start recording, use the combination Windows + Alt + R or press the Start recording button on the Bar. You can also take a screenshot by using the Windows + Alt + Print Screen combination or clicking the camera icon.

Click the Stop sign to stop recording. You can also use the same hotkeys (Windows + Alt + R). Your video will be saved in the Capture folder, located in the C:\Users\%user_name%\Videos folder. The other way to locate your videos is to go to Windows settings > Gaming > Captures and select Open Folder.

Select the small camera icon in the top corner, which will let you choose your video input, such as a webcam. Hit the Record icon to start recording and the Stop button when you are finished.

Review the video that you have made. If you have issues with the webcam or the audio, you may need to change permissions within the Settings menu of your computer.

Choose whether you want to record the camera only or to include your screen as well. Click Launch Recorder to get started.

Use the Record button to start recording. Then click the Stop button to finish. The video will then upload to the server, and you can choose whether to share via a link or to embed the video somewhere.

There are a lot of different ways to do this depending on what equipment you are using. Of course, the simplest method to make a recording is to film using your front-facing camera.

The best way to ensure that you record what you need is to take a test recording before you create the real thing. You should make a simple recording to check that the footage is working before you take a video for real.

Once you’ve successfully tested your recording, then you can try the real thing. It isn’t necessarily possible to get it the first time, but with most software options you can always just delete and start again.

If the video is on your phone or camera, you need to create a backup. Upload to a cloud storage to make sure you don’t lose the video. If you’re using a camera, then you may need to upload from an SD card or other storage format.

Most of us are familiar with making a recording on a phone or camera, but the purpose of the video should be considered. If you’re just sending a quick note to a colleague, then you might just use the front-facing camera on your iPhone. If you want to make a more in-depth recording, you might consider things like lighting and an external microphone to create a quality recording with audio.
